President of the FBiH and Vice President of HDZ BiH Marinko Cavara, attended a meeting with Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalic and Minister of Finances of BiH, Jelka Milicevic.

PM Novalic stated that the meeting was organized because of an unusual interruption in the government session of the Government of FBiH because of a socially sensitive issue.

The previous session of the Government of FBiH was stopped by Novalic because of an agenda related to the annulment of the public call for the selection of a director and deputy director of the Tax Administration of the FBiH.

On Monday, the prime ministers and vice prime ministers of FBiH will attend a meeting with the aim to find a solution to the public call for the selection of directors and deputy directors of the Tax Administration of the FBiH, which led to a conflict between PM Novalic and Minister Milicevic, who had proposed this item on the agenda.

Cavara stated that this is not the only problem, and he noted that there is a need for authorities to find a solution without any kind of conflict.

The Minister of Finances stated that eight people applied for the position of the director of the Tax Administration and they have met all the requirements as well as five candidates that have applied for the position of deputy director, and she expressed her concern whether there is anyone who fits the government’s requests for that position.

Milicevic requested for all procedures to be conducted during the public call.

Moreover, Novalic talked about the increase in prices of gas, and stated that there will not be any increase in gas prices, but there will be increase in its transportation, which has to be in compliance to European regulations.
