The Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic will visit Mostar on Sunday and Monday on the occasion of the grand opening of the newly built Diocesan Cultural Center in Mostar and the presentation of Bishop Ratko Peric’s book ‘Go and Preach’ and the handover of the outgoing Bishop Ratko Peric to the newly appointed Bishop Petar Palic.
The newly built Diocesan Cultural Center in Mostar is largely funded by Croatian assistance.
Plenkovic will attend Holy Mass on Monday, when the outgoing Bishop Ratko Peric will hand over the duty to the newly appointed bishop of the Mostar-Duvanj diocese and the apostolic administrator of the Trebinje-Mrkanj diocese, Bishop Petar Palic.
Cardinal Vinko Puljić, Archbishop Coadjutor of the Vrhbosna Archdiocese Tomo Vuksic, Mufti of Mostar Salem ef. Dedovic, Bishop of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and Primorje-Gorski Kotar Dimitrije, as well as numerous bishops from BiH and Croatia, will attend, Hayat reports.
