Problems of Landslides in Osmaci, Srebrenica, Šekovići and Lopare

landslideOn the territory of municipality Osmaci, more than fifty landslides which have caused great damage to local roads and agricultural areas, have been found.

 

According to the Civil Protection RS, the PTT communication has not been established due to the landslides on the territory of Borogova. Srebrenica also faces a problem with landslides, where there are around 127 landslides. Four households were partially affected, but no evacuated people.

 

Travel routes to Lukići, Majdan, Tupanari, Vrelo and Trnovo are still terminated and the traffic is forbidden.  Currently, the construction of new road to the local community Kaštijelj is taking place.

Municipality Lopare is also faced with problems of landslides, which threaten electrical and postal installations and a large number of houses. Currently, on the territory of Lopare, there was 270 landslides recorded.

Problems with landslides persist in Milići, Zvornik, Vlasenica, Bratunac as well.
