Program of public Investments worth 1.8 Billion BAM adopted?

Council of Ministers faktor.baAt the proposal by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Program of public investments/development-investment program of institutions of BiH for the period 2017-2019.

Program of public investments/development-investment program of institutions of BiH for the period 2017-2019 contains data about 261 projects whose total value is one billion and 809,48 million BAM.

Of this amount, one billion and 434,15 million BAM refer to investments in capital projects and 375.33 million BAM refer to investments in institutional projects. Value of projects that directly contribute to socioeconomic development and that are listed in the development-investment program amounts to one billion and 205,26 million BAM, while the value of other projects is 604,00 million BAM.

Total value of projects in implementation amounts to one billion and 375,65 million BAM. Projects in implementation are financed by domestic funds, through budgets, grants and national funds, as well as by foreign funds, through loans and grants.

At the proposal by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the Council of Ministers of BiH approved the Framework Budget Document (DOB) of institutions of BiH for the period 2017-2019, which represents a preliminary draft budget of institutions of BiH for 2017, together with framework plans for the next two years.

The Framework Budget Document will be helpful for the Council of Ministers of BiH as well as for the institutions of BiH in terms of planning the policies of priorities and consumption programs that will be consistent with the approved medium-term macroeconomic and fiscal framework.
