The American Agency for International Development (USAID), Development Program of the UN (UNDP) and the German Development Agency (GIZ) presented a joint publishing project yesterday of Library Energy Efficiency (EE Library) in BiH.
The promotion was held in the American Corner in Banja Luka, which on this occasion received 10 sets of EE library books.
The Director of the American Corner of Banja Luka Sonja Pržulj said that educational brochures of the energy efficiency library are a valuable source from which BiH citizens could find out more and learn about improving the efficiency and use of renewable sources of energy.
“This presents one of the most important elements of modern energy policies, which will, fi it is enforced, bring BiH to the path of European integration’’, she said.
EE library is made up of seven educational publications, issued by USAID from USAID 3E projects, UNDP and GIZ.
These books contain information on energy efficiency that are tied with a systematic energy management in cities, conducting energy audits of facilities, monitoring and measuring energy consumption, real ways of financing projects of the implementation of measures of energy efficiency, as well as decorating our offices in accordance with recommendations for a ‘green office’.
Books that were written by authors from the area of Southeast Europe, experts for energy efficiency are useful references and sources of information for all those interested in energy efficiency, as well as those who are professionally involved in this area.
The books were presented by Raduška Cupać in front of the UNDP, Brian Schjertzer from GIZ and Mak Kamenica from USAID’s project of economic energy efficiency (3E).
