Promotion of Novel ‘Čovjek Iz Podruma’

covjek_iz_podrumaExactly one month after the book ‘Čovjek iz podruma’ (man from the basement) by Nihad Hasanović appeared in Buybook’s library of modern B&H literature, the publishing house Buybook will prepare a promotion of this title.

On Thursday, 23 January 2014 at 19:30 at Buybook, a discussion will take place with the writer, led by Kristina Ljevak, and all guests, readers and friends of Buybook are invited to attend.

Nihad Hasanović (Bihać, 1974) published the titles “Podigni visoko baklju” (1996) and “Zaista?” (2000), and a collection of short stories “Kad su narodi nestali” (2003) and the novel “O roštilju i raznim smetnjama” (2008). He published poems, short stories and essays on literary magazines. He translated the novel of Kenizé Mourad “The Garden in Badalpur” (2001), diary entries of E.M. Cioran “Diary from Talamanca”, as well as ‘’Spirit of Terrorism’’ by Jean Baudrillard.
