“The defendants are accused of participating in the capture of men as commanders and members of the Military Police of the Drina Corps, the Birčan Brigade and the 10th Sabotage Squad at the Main Headquarters of the VRS, in the area of the municipalities of Šekovići and Vlasenica, in the period from July 15 to July 23, 1995. and boys of Bosniak nationality, who, after the fall of the UN protected zone of Srebrenica, tried to cross over to the territory under the control of the ARBiH, their detention in Sušica prison and other facilities, as well as their tying and transportation to three locations, where they were shot and killed, and bodies and remains buried with explosive devices or removed and buried using machinery,” the statement said.

The bodies of the victims were found, exhumed and identified after the war, so the identity of all 65 people killed in these three locations is known.

“The defendants fear that they knowingly assisted the members of the Joint Criminal Enterprise in committing genocide against Bosniak victims after the fall of the UN Protected Zone of Srebrenica,” the statement added.
