Prosecutor’s Office on Femicide in BiH: Serious Murder committed, Autopsy ordered

After the murder of a woman, A.M. (34) in Šipovo, who is suspected to have been killed by a man N.C. (38), who tried to commit suicide after the murder, announced the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Banjaluka.

As they say, this morning around 07:45. o’clock in Karađorđeva Street in Šipovo, a gun was fired in the car, the crime of aggravated murder was committed, and A.M. was killed. (34) from Šipovo.

“There are grounds for suspicion that the aforementioned criminal offense was committed by N.C., born (38) from Šipovo, who then tried to commit suicide. On that occasion, he suffered life-threatening injuries and was treated at the RS-Banjaluka Medical Center”, according to OJT Banjaluka.

They point out that the on-site investigation was carried out by Slavica Matijaš, the duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Banjaluka together with the police officers of the PU Mrkonjić Grad.

“The prosecutor has ordered that all necessary investigative actions and measures be taken to establish the circumstances of the committed criminal offense and an autopsy will be ordered on the body of the victim, which will be performed at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Republika Srpska,” the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Banjaluka points out, Nezavisne writes.
