zenica_setnjaA group of dissatisfied Zenica citizens gathered again today for protests and took a peaceful walk from Alija Izetbegović Square through the city center to the building of Municipality Zenica and government of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

The group consisted of 300 citizens, mainly unemployed people and retirees.

Representatives of the Plenum of citizens pointed out that they will not give up on their requests, which should get solved at the session of Assembly Zenica – Doboj Canton, which is scheduled for Tuesday, 25 February.

At the Plenum of citizens, held on Thursday, 20 February, it was decided to seek from the Assembly of Zenica – Doboj Canton the urgent disbursement of funds for the category of civilian victims of the war, one time cash assistance payment for the categories of demobilized fighters, and disability payment for users, whose status has been abolished or changed, while the remaining part of the debt from the previous decision is not paid.
