Thousands of protesters gathered last night in front of the seat of the Albanian Government in Tirana for a protest during which they threw Molotov cocktails and stones at the government building, accusing the current government of being involved in organized crime and corruption.

Berisha, who is being investigated for corruption, the protester spoke via video link, accusing the government of Edi Rama of being the worst enemy of the existence of Albanian citizens.
“Today, we do not have before us the symbols of a dictatorship based on Marxist-Leninist doctrine, but we are facing a new type of dictatorship, which is based on the connection of the government with crime, turning voting into crime and crime into voting, and the trade of hundreds of tons of drugs and narcoeuros,” he said. among others, Berisha.
Berisha compared the current Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to the former dictator Enver Hoxha, pointing out that Rama has concentrated all powers in his hands and wants Albania without opposition.
Sali Berisha, who was the Albanian prime minister from 2005 to 2013, rejected the accusations, stressing that Edi Rama’s main goal is to silence his opponents while the prosecutor’s office in Tirana has not yet decided whether to file an indictment against Berisha or dismiss it.
