Around hundred members of the Association Av Mau held yesterday a protest in front of the Novi Grad Municipality in Sarajevo on the occasion of killing stray dogs.
‘Dogs have the right to live, just like people’ is the motto of the protest held on the Day of homeless animals. The aim of gathering is attracting public attention to the problem of torture and illegal killing of stray dogs.
What they demand from the competent authorities is the consistent implementation of the Law on Protection and Welfare of Animals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for a humane and lawful solution of this problem.
