Paris Saint-Germain’s French footballer Ousmane Dembele won the 2025 Ballon d’Or at a ceremony in Paris on Monday evening for the best player of the previous season. Dembele won the Champions League, the French Championship, the French Cup and the UEFA Super Cup last season.

The award was presented to him by the famous footballer Ronaldinho.

Behind him in the choice for the best were Barcelona’s player Lamine Yamal, PSG’s Vitinha and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Barcelona’s striker Raphinha took fifth place in the choice for the best, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe was sixth, and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer was seventh. PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma took eighth place, his teammates Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi ninth and tenth.

The Golden Ball in the women’s competition was won, for the third time in a row, by Aitana Bonmati from Barcelona. She celebrated ahead of her teammate from the Spanish national team Mariona Caldentey and England’s Alessia Russo.

Only Lionel Messi and Michel Platini have won the Ballon d’Or three times in a row.

The “Kopa” trophy for the best young player under the age of 21 was awarded to 18-year-old Barcelona player Lamina Yamal, who won the Spanish league title with the Catalan team last season. He won the award for the best young player in the world for the second year in a row.

The same award in the women’s competition was won by 19-year-old Barcelona player Vicky Lopez.

The most successful men’s club was Paris Saint-Germain, which won the club’s first European championship in May, defeating Inter in the final in Munich. In addition to the European championship, PSG also won its 13th French championship, the French Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
