Today, the management of the Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda Bosnia and Herzegovina should approve the new systematization of workplaces and the organization of the Subsidiary Society from Zenica, whose workers have been in labor disobedience since last Monday, said the president of the ZDRMU Zenica union, Elvedin Avdić to Fena.

The commission appointed by the director Mensur Hukić, in accordance with the agreement of the meeting with the federal minister of mining and energy, Vedran Lakić, completed the work within the given deadline. The deadline was yesterday, October 2.

“During the day, the director should make a decision on the temporary suspension of work, which will come into force tomorrow and should be valid until the conditions for unblocking the company’s account and the payment of salary and hot meal allowance for the month of August are met. We hope that it will be quickly, because tomorrow a new meeting will be held in JPEPBiH, at which Minister Lakić should also be present and at which the new systematization of workplaces in our mine should be accepted,” announced Avdić.

The Zenica mine, he adds, should reduce the number of employees from the current 805 to 711 in the first phase.

“The others should be provided with social care, that is, they should be paid incentive severance pay or obligations to tie up their seniority for their retirement. In the second phase, the number of employees would drop to 580,” says Avdić.
