rad_kontejneriThe company ‘Rad’ received 208.000 BAM from the government of Sweden, through the Swedish International Agency for Development and Cooperation-SIDA, and with this money bought 170 containers for selective waste disposal. Of this amount, 85 containers are for the disposal of waste paper and cardboard and the same amount of containers for the disposal of five containers, said to Fena the spokesperson of KJKP ‘Rad’ Ahmed Đipa.

The containers will be placed in front of the elementary and high schools and faculties, as well as buildings of the FB&H and Cantonal institutions. A small number of containers will be distributed in areas that have niches for the protection of containers. Đipa said that the aim of the project is not only to collect useful waste, but to also develop environmental awareness on the need to recycle.

There will be a special vehicle for the transport of such waste to company ‘Rad’. ‘’This special vehicle for collecting and transporting waste is expected to arrive in one month’’, said Đipa.
