The sixth traditional breaking fast meeting for youth was organized last night in Mostar. This year, guests from other cities such as Jablanica, Konjic, Stolac and Čapljina were invited as well.
Harun Čavčić, representative of Info service for young people, which is operating within the Majlis of the Islamic Community in Mostar, said that this already traditional iftar is organized by the Islamic Community in B&H, the Union of Students of the University “Džemal Bijedić” and the Association “Karađoz Bey”.
“Our wish is to make a nice Ramadan meeting, and a nice iftar atmosphere this year as well,” said Čavčić.
Harun Kurtović, the president of the Union of Students of the University Džemal Bijedić said that this is a big and very important project for the young people from Mostar.
“It is very important because it is gathering between 300 and 400 young people on one place who are hanging out in nice atmosphere,” said Kurtović.
Besides the breaking fast, the program had the music part as well, and the Grand Imam of the Islamic Community Mostar, Suljo ef. Cikotić addressed the attendees.
This program considers that young people break their fast together, pray Maghrib and Isha prayer, and enjoy their meeting in a beautiful Mostar night.
