serpa“You are opening sidewalks and streets, but not capturing the killers?” was written on one of the banners that citizens of BiH today displayed to show their dissatisfaction on the occasion of official tour of the sidewalk on the entrance to the building of the Presidency of BiH and one citizen even made unusual performance.

He laid down on the sidewalk in front of the Presidency of BiH, banging a spoon on an empty pot and saying how good is presidential food. He also said that it will be better and better in the future.

Some of the messages that citizens wrote were: “We are building a sidewalk, the sidewalk is building us”, “Robbery of hospitals, schools, buildings, water!!!”, “1948: Railway Samac – Sarajevo – 239 kilometers, 2016: Sarajevo Sidewalk – 300 square meters”.

Moreover, today’s tour on the occasion of the completion of reconstruction of sidewalk, which cost more than 360,000 BAM, attracted great attention of the public, among other things, because renovation of these 300 square meters lasted for several months, causing great traffic problems.

The sidewalk in front of the Presidency of BiH was visited by the Secretary General of the Presidency of BiH Dzenan Selimbegovic, the Mayor of the Municipality Centar Nedzad Ajnadzic and representatives of the Department of Roads of Canton Sarajevo Adnan Alikadic and Fahrudin Djedovic.
