A set of rules in the field of broadcasting which the Council of the Regulatory Agency for Communications (RAK) adopted in December and which were published in the Official Gazette of B&H in January 19 became effective yesterday, eight days after publishing.
The set of rules encompasses the Code on Commercial Communications, the Code on Audio-Visual Media Services and Radio Media Services, the Rule on Provision of Audio-Visual Media Service and the Rule on Provision of Radio Media Services.
One of the most significant changes refers to defining the reality and pseudo-reality program and limiting the broadcasting of such shows to the period between midnight and 6 a.m., RAK announced yesterday.
Accordingly, the previous Rule on Public Radio and TV Stations ceased to be valid and the relevant regulations regarding public radio and TV stations are now a constituent part of this set of rules.
