Realization of Million BAM worth Project started in Gorazde

Gorazde new projectBy removing the building in the street Kulina Bana in Gorazde, the project “Gorazde-a zone of the improved business“ worth 540.000 EUR started. After removing the building, a construction of the new building which will be the headquarters of trade and tourist associations will start, and this part of the city should remind on the old market (carsija) with its look and facilities.

The Trade Chamber of Bosna Podrinje Canton is realizing the project “Gorazde- a zone of the improved business“ with the help of the European Commission and Oxfam, and partners are the Municipality and the Government of BPC Gorazde.

“At the location of the old building, the new one will be built authentically. The contractor is GPD Drina, and moving into the new premises is expected in the following six months“, said Ahmed Popovic, president of the Trade Chamber of BPC Gorazde, adding that the construction of the new object is just a part of planned activities in the total project.

This is a project that should last two more years, and it is sure that after the construction of a new building, which will be the headquarters of craftsmen, tourist communities and others, will be continued in the next year as well.

As a reminder, the representative of Oxfam, Rasim Tulumovic, said earlier that the implementation of the project will last 28 months, and that it is consisted of four components which aim is the improvement of the business environment in Gorazde.
