Recognition of Driving Licences between BiH and Macedonia soon?

driving-licenseAmbassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to the Republic of Macedonia Lepa Babic met with Macedonia’s Transport and Communications Minister Goran Sugaresk today. At the meeting, they spoke about the initiative for the establishment of the Skopje-Sarajevo airline as well as about other topics regarding the road infrastructure.

Minister agreed with the assessment of the need to introduce an airline, need to improve the road infrastructure and introduction of the new bus lines.

Moreover, they agreed that it would be good to arrange a meeting with the Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH and of the Ministers of Transport and Communications of Macedonia as soon as possible. In addition, it was concluded that the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Macedonia on Mutual Recognition and Replacement of Driving Licenses should be signed at the same meeting.

At the meeting, interlocutors discussed the possibilities of joint projects that should be funded from the European Union funds.
