IRC BiHUnited Nations Population Fund, the UNFPA and the British Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) send congratulations to the Inter-religious Council in BiH for the twentieth anniversary of devoted work in building and spreading a common vision of an open and diverse society in all parts of BiH.

“On this important date and on the occasion of the International Day against Sexual Violence in War, we greet the signing of a historically important Declaration on the Stigmatization of Persons who survived Sexual Violence in the War,” was stated.

Moreover, it is added that the Declaration is a clear signal to everyone that religious communities and religious leaders condemn the social exclusion, marginalization and direct discrimination that society carries out over persons who survived sexual violence in the war.

The UN Population Fund and the British Embassy in BiH support the Inter-Religious Council of BiHin its efforts to reduce the stigmatization of persons who survived the sexual violence in the war.
