On the 27th European exhibition of small animals in Leipzig, nine exhibitors from BiH has been awarded with the title of the European Champion, and three exhibits with the title European master of breeding.
This is, so far, the largest exhibition of small animals in the world, with 95,517 animals.
Thirty four exhibitors represented BiH at the ceremony, and they exhibited 225 animals in the category of pigeons and poultry.
Apart from the awards for quality, BiH received recognition of yet another breed as an indigenous race – the Zenica tumbler pigeon.
