Recognize Quality of Police Offers from the RS

policijaThe RS Minister of Internal Affairs Radislav Jovičić announced today that members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS, who are on a UN Police Mission in Cyprus, was rated as very good and capable.

“Their quality and capability, in addition to other members of the UN Police Mission, was recognized by the inhabitants of Cyprus. Two of our members at last night’s ceremony won medals for their stated professionalism and engagement in this mission’’, said Jovičić to Agency Srna.

He said that he participated at the ceremony of the UN Police Mission in Cyprus, where 15 members of the mission from various countries received medals.

Jovičić said that he spoke with the Director of the Police Michael Papageorgiou on the security situation in the county and methods of their work.

“The problem in Cyprus is not even close to ours, but some of their experiences were transferred to us, the ways in which problems are solved in the area of thet and serious theft, as well as the segment of the fight against economic and financial crime’’, added Jovičić.

He noted that there is a possibility for the Director of the Cyprus Police in the next period to visit Banja Luka in order to become familiar with the modalities of the work of the RS Police.
