skenderijaaThe plateau in front of Skenderija, which is a mockery in the city center for years, will be renovated soon. The works, which will cost about one million BAM, could start in 15 days if the Procurement Review Body of BiH gives the green light and thus there would be no obstacles to the realization of this project.

It was confirmed by director of “Skenderija” Amer Kapo, who told us that the selection of the best contractor has been completed. As we found out, the most acceptable offer was made by company “Unigradnja”.

“They offered high quality and acceptable offer for us. However, from the company “Sela”, which was the second one on the tender, was made an appealed that we consider as unfounded. We are waiting for another opinion of the Procurement Review Body. If they have the same opinion, the contractor will start with the works in 2 weeks,” emphasized Kapo.

According to him, the reconstruction of plates on the plateau and setting up of new waterproofing is necessary, since the water is leaking in offices in Skenderija for years due to damaging.

“Reconstruction of the entire plateau should cost about 904,000 BAM. The highest quality and beautifully designed panels will be set up, which will significantly brighten up this part of the city. Everything should be finished within 2 months,” said Kapo.

The Government of Canton Sarajevo decided to give the permission to the management of this center to refocus 1 million BAM that was intended for the reconstruction of the roof of the Ice Hall to this project.

The reason is the return of the Project of the roof of the Ice Hall on finishing, so this money will be used for a detailed reconstruction of the destroyed central plateau.
