Record Revenues From Indirect Taxes In The Past Seven Months

Revenues from indirect taxes for seven months of this year amount to six billion and 850 million BAM and are higher by 355 million BAM or 5.5% compared to the same period last year, it was stated by the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ITA BiH).

In the same period, ITA carried out VAT refunds to taxpayers who exercised the legal right to a refund, in the total amount of 1.274 billion BAM.

Net collected revenues that were distributed to beneficiaries – state institutions, entities, and the Brcko District – amounted to 5.576 billion BAM, which is 5.2% more than in the same period of 2024.

For financing state institutions, 580 million BAM was allocated. The remaining portion of the revenues was distributed to the entities and the Brcko District – to the Federation of BiH (FBiH): three billion and 69 million BAM, to Republika Srpska (RS): one billion and 719 million BAM, and to the Brcko District: 173 million BAM.

The ITA BiH also stated that, based on the special road toll of 0.25 BAM for highway construction and road reconstruction, an additional amount was distributed to the FBiH: 138 million BAM, to RS: 91 million BAM, and to the Brcko District: five million BAM.
