Real Projects negotiated at the Major’s Café Meeting

bigmevMajors of BH cities had a meeting with their Sister City Major’s During the Major’s Café meeting, which was organized by BİGMEV and Marmara Municipality Union. Major’s Café meetings continued in BİGMEV stand which was in Balkan Trade Fair and headed back to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Major’s Café is one of the significant steps and related to Sister City Project of BİGMEV (Center for the Development of Relation with BIH), which was held on 14th May 2015 at 14:00 o’clock in Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.

This meeting (Major’s Café) became very significant step of Sister City relations between Turkey and BIH, both countries’ Municipalities negotiated with many projects, such as;,

 

  • Municipality of Beykoz negotiated to build a sport center in Srebrenica which costs €500.000.
  • Municipality of Tuzla negotiated to complete, half finished school construction in Novi Grad Sarajevo.
  • Sancaktepe Municipality negotiated to build a sport center in Konjic which is €500.000 project,

These are just examples among many negotiated projects.

Meetings completed with the common belief that, negotiated projects with every single detail, will add impetus to trade and friendship relations of both countries.

After meetings, committee visited the BİGMEV’s Bursa office. During this visit they are additionally informed about BİGMEV and they put in words their pleasure about BİGMEV’s effort to take forward relations between Sister Cities.

During the last day of their program, they visited BİGMEV’s stand in Balkan Economy Exposition

and the sustained making contact. They made evaluations about, increasing projects among Sister Cities. So, the other evaluation is about Balkan and especially for Bosnia and Herzegovina to increase investment and trade opportunities to show the positive image of region and to mange this opportunities better than ever.
