Reductions of Fees for entry into the register book from 200 BAM to 35 BAM?

LawIn order to increase the competitiveness and easier registration and operations in the Sarajevo Canton, the Government proposed a draft amendment to the Law on Court and Administrative Fees.

The amendment of this legislation is part of a project implemented by Canton Sarajevo with IFC groupation of the World Bank, in order to create a better business environment, better positioning in the country and the Canton, which includes amendments to regulations concerning the organization of business conditions here.

It was proposed that the fee for registration would be reduced from 200 BAM to 35 BAM, a significant reduction in taxes would also be made in the additional modifications in six other points, for example the fee for issuing a decision on the establishment of parts of the company, fee for entry authorization for representation, and the fee for appeals of decisions made in the registration process were also reduced from 100 BAM to 35 BAM.

Fees for removal from registration and from the register would be 10 BAM, instead of the current 50 BAM. It is also proposed to reduce the fees for submission, for correspondence and expenses and the disclosure of the data entered form 10 BAM to 5 BAM. The fee for a data transcript would be reduced from 50 BAM to 25 BAM.

It is estimated that the private sector would save up to 267.000 BAM, and that as a result of these corrections, the registered businesses annually would increase for 20 %.

With this draft the fee for a work permit would be nullified.

According to federal regulation the fee for the administrative costs of the cantonal employment services would be 100 BAM, as well as the cantonal administrative fee of 1,000 BAM.

With these amendments a single economic space is established, and the Canton would save up to 725.000 BAM annually.
