Remains of Three Victims ready for Joint Funeral in Prijedor

So far, mortal remains of three victims have been identified and prepared for burial. They will be buried at the joint funeral that will be organized in Prijedor on July 20, this year.

Spokesperson for the Missing Persons Institute in BiH, Lejla Cengic, stated that the victims were between 26 to 44 years of age and they were exhumed earlier in the area of Prijedor.

“Fikret Crljenkovic was 26 years old when he was murdered and so far, he is the youngest victim identified and planned for burial this year. His remains were exhumed back in 2017 at the locality of Miska Glava in Prijedor,” noted Cengic.

“Adem Besic was 29 years old when he was killed and his remains were exhumed back in 1999 in the village of Poljanak near Kozarac.”

The third identified victim was Mehmed Mulalic who was 44 years old when he was killed. His remains were exhumed back in 2015 at the locality of Hambarine in Prijedor.

Cengic stated that they are still searching for 760 victims in the area of Prijedor.
