special olympicsRepresentatives of Special Olympics of BiH yesterday traveled to Austria for the Winter Olympics, which will take place from the 14th to 25th of March.

BH team will have 23 representatives, of which 16 athletes, 5 coaches, and 2 official representatives.

“This is the largest BH team that is traveling to the Winter Olympics and we are very proud of this fact that we achieved thanks to good organization and joint work of the Alliance and clubs. Our goal is that our athletes give their best and try to achieve the best results possible,” said the coach Ognjen Glamocanin.

“We had our preparations on Igman and we trained in the conditions that weather permitted. We will not promise a lot when it comes to medals, as we were going before modestly, and came back with medals. We have not set any imperative before our participants, but I know that they will give their best to make us and this country proud,” said the coach of ski team Aid Ahmetovic.

Special Olympics of BiH will represent following athletes: Edna Sunjic, Merima Osmanovic, Tanja Glavocevic, Harun Tanovic, Spomenko Martinovic, Andrija Rados, Kristina Klacar, Hiba Sultanovic, Edita Dikonja, Selmedina Berisaj, Saneca Corovic, Josip Adzaip, Ismet Alimanovic, Radenko Savanovic, Nemanja Sevic and Njegos Mihailovic.
