SKUPŠTINA KANTONA SARAJEVO O ZAHTJEVIMA PLENUMA GRAÐANAAssembly Representatives of Canton Sarajevo for already two hours discussed the first point of the daily agenda, and this is the requests of the Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo Canton.

The first request is the formation of an expert government, then the revision of wage and benefits of authorities, the revision of privatization and forming of a commission for confirming the facts about the protests of 7 February, when the government building of Sarajevo Canton, Municipality Center and B&H Presidency were set on fire.

The representative Kenan Ademović said that his party supports all the requests of the Plenum of citizens and the government of Sarajevo Canton behaves as nothing is happening.

“The Prosecution must urgently start doing its job. Privatization has destroyed this Canton. Those who were in power know that corruption in employment exists. All this happened when SDA, SDP and Stranka za B&H were in power”, he said. He also added that SBB will not participate anymore in the work of the Assembly while the situation is like this.

Elmedin Konaković (SDA) said that running away from problems is not a solution.

“We are responsible to do our job. The conclusions of the Plenum are poorly written and now I can say 9 more issues that need to be addressed”, he added. He pointed out that SDA has participated for 20 years in the government of Sarajevo Canton and does not run away from any of its responsibilities.

Segmedina Srna (SDP) said that the disputes are the reason for this kind of situation.

Mujo Hošić (SDU) said that the government of Sarajevo Canton should operate with its full capacity because the situation would be anarchic without the government.
