The representatives of the European Commission, BiH institutions and the relevant ministries of the RS will visit the border crossing Gradiška today.

The goal of the visit is to review the progress in the implementation of the activities related to the establishment of inspection (BIP) at this border crossing and to speak with representatives of the municipal administration.

Soon concrete works will begin on establishing inspection infrastructure necessary for the export of products of plant and animal origin to the Croatian market after the country becomes a EU member on July 1st.

The BIP on the current border crossing of Gradiška will be temporary until a new bridge on the Sava river between BiH and Croatia is constructed.
