Since representatives of the Plenum of citizens did not come to today’s scheduled meeting with the Chairperson of the Assembly of Canton Sarajevo, Mirjana Malić presented to the media conclusions on the Collegium from yesterday’s session.
Malić said that the Collegiate accepted all four conclusions of the Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo.
The Collegium of the Assembly of Canton Sarajevo discussed the requirements of the Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo and adopted conclusions and responses to those requests at its all-day session yesterday.
The Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo handed over four demands to the Collegiate of Canton Sarajevo Assembly, and one of them was the immediate formation of non-party expert governments of Canton Sarajevo.
Another demand was a review of salaries and benefits for public officials in Canton Sarajevo and harmonizing them with the economic situation, as well as a demand for an audit of privatization of all companies in Canton Sarajevo.
Also, one of the demands is the establishment of independent commissions of experts to establish the facts about the events on 7 February, whose mandate will include the list, assessment of damage and determining the responsibilities of police officials for excessive use of force and mistreatment of those who have been arrested.
