“Republika Srpska is safe”

President of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) entity Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik said via the social network X that the RS is safe.

Dodik published a photo with members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS with long barrels with the message: “RS is safe.”

Namely, he also commented earlier on the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH to invalidate the Electoral Law of the RS.

“The faulty Constitutional Court considers that ‘there are valid doubts that the contested law could violate the constitutional order and political stability of BiH’. This position of the court is stated even though Article 1 of the Election Law of BiH stipulates: “This law regulates the election of members and delegates of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and members of the Presidency of BiH, and establishes the principles that apply to elections at all levels of government in BiH,” said the entity’s president.

In his statement to agency Srna, Dodik concluded that “when you see what kind, how and in what manner decisions are made in the Constitutional Court of BiH, the provisions of the law on non-application of the decisions of this Court on the territory of the RS become even more important.”, N1 writes.
