Reserve forces from Hungary and members of KFOR, the international peacekeeping force led by NATO in Kosovo, entered Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday via the Svilaj and Klobuk border crossings.

Their task is to integrate with EUFOR forces already in the area of operations, currently staffed by personnel from 25 countries participating in the mission, and to engage in Rapid Response 2025, EUFOR’s major annual exercise.

Among the participants of this multinational activity will be members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and law enforcement agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The main goal of the exercise is to improve the operational readiness of all involved forces and to confirm EUFOR’s permanent support to its partners in BiH in preserving a safe and stable environment throughout the country, EUFOR announced.
