Sarajevo this year has recorded a number of events on the occasion of the New Year. The central event will definitely be on December 31st on the Square of Bosnia-Herzegovina, when Sarajevo and numerous visitors will be introduced by Zeljko Joksimovic and Ilma Karahmet into the new 2020.

Ilma Karahmet will open the party on the plateau in front of Sarajevo City Centre, at 8.30 pm and will entertain the audience until 10.30 pm, when the mega star Zeljko Joksimovic will arrive on stage.

Although it will be very cold, around – 6 degrees Celsius, it will not spoil the spectacle that is expected. On December 31, there will be changes in the traffic in the center of Sarajevo, and from 3 pm from Marijin Dvor to Baščaršija there will be a suspension of the traffic on the main street.

The New Year’s celebration also continues on January 1st, when a concert of Zabranjeno Pusenje will take place in front of the Eternal Fire in the city center. As in previous years, it is expected that some100,000 visitors will visit Sarajevo, Vijesti news portal reports.
