Resolve Issue of Military Property

The BiH Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić and the FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić spoke of the issues regarding to the cooperation of the BiH Ministry of Defense and the FBiH government in solving the issue of military property and other movable military property.

They agreed that in the next 30 days cooperation between the BiH Ministry of Defense and the FBiH government be directed towards the handover of locations “Kaonik” in Busovača for the needs of the community and a part of the barrack “Blažuj” near Sarajevo for the Federal Police Administration.

Also, they concluded at the meeting to continue the activity of non-perspective military locations in Bugojno and Visoko in order to help strengthen capacity of local communities in BiH.

They agreed that it is necessary to work to accelerate solving the issue of movable military property.

The meeting highlighted the need for future continued cooperation between the BiH Defense Ministry and the FBiH government, and Minister Osmić will organize a similar meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia.
