The national football team of BiH lost in Brussels from the team of Belgium with the score 4: 0 in the second round of Group H in the qualifications for the World Championship which will be held in Russia in 2018.
In the first 15 minutes of the match, Belgium imposed its style of play and constantly put pressure on the last line of our defense that consisted of Bicakcic, Spahic and Zukanovic in formation 3-5-2.
Domestic team almost took a lead in the 18th minute. Bicakcic returned the ball to Begovic, but he did it very poorly, but the goalkeeper of our national team managed to get there before Mertens and eliminate the danger.
Belgians asked for a penalty in the 23rd minute. Zukanovic slided in front Mertens but the referee Atkinson stayed silent.
Team of Belgium took the lead in the 26th minute. Beautiful action of Belgians was followed by Meunier who centered and the former captain of Dragons, Emir Spahic, finished it with auto goal. The ball went through a penalty shot and Spahic reacted poorly and checkmated our goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Just three minutes later, Belgium increased the lead to 2: 0. Mato Jajalo lost a ball in front of our goal stands, Dries Mertens passed to Eden Hazard who went out alone against Asmir Begovic. The Belgian routinely passed his club colleague from Chelsea and sent the ball into an empty net.
Belgium continued with attacks, and in the 31st minute Vertonghen shot over the goal.
Begovic saved our team just three minutes before the end of the first half. Mertens passed the ball to Lukaku but our goalkeeper managed to stop him.
After exactly one hour, team of Belgium scored third goal at the match. After a corner kick from the left side, Mertens passed the ball to Alderweireld, who scored.
Bazdarevic made the first substitution in the 64th minute when Milan Djuric replaced Ibisevic.
Happiness was the ally of our Dragons in the 66th minute. Carrasco and Lukaku went to Begovic, player of Atletico Madrid passed to the player of Everton, who missed the empty net from the distance of only five meters.
Djuric could score honorary goal in the 68th minutes, but he hit the goal stand of Belgium team. The second substitute in our team took place in the 73rd minute when Visca replaced Jajalo.
Belgians scored their fourth goal in the 79th minute. Lukaku received the ball and scored for 4: 0.
Pjanic left the match in 82nd minute, when he was replaced by Gojko Cimirot. Djuric had the last chance for the Dragons in the 89th minute, who shot after a corner, the ball went right across the middle of the goal and Courtois had no problem in catching it.
The match ended with the final score 4:0 for the team of Belgium.
