snimanje cestaThe road recording in B&H will start soon within the SENSOR project financed by the European Commission, specifically the program for transnational cooperation for SEE, announced the B&H automobile club (BIHAMK).

The workshop for project partners of SENSOR was organized by BIHAMK last week in Sarajevo. Apart from organizers, in the workshop experts of company Ceste FB&H, Autoceste FB&H, technical director EuroRAP Steve Lawson, the representative of SENSOR project Oliver Đorđević and Marko Ševrović and Darko Babić from the faculty of traffic sciences (Zagreb) participated. On this occasion it was agreed to start the implementation of this project relating to the recording of roads in B&H.

BIHAMK signed the agreement on implementation and became one of the partners of SENSOR project (safe roads in South East neighborhood) by the end of October 2012 with the support of EuroRAP (European program for road assessment) and Foundation for Road Safety.

The main goal of this project is to build a safer road network in the SEE region through the creation of risk maps, that shows where is the risk of accidents, recording-inspection of roads aiming to determine why the risk occurs.
