Rolling Stones to perform in Sarajevo?

The organization Front Studio1, which was mentioned as the initiator of the arrival of the largest rock band in the history, the Rolling Stones, in Sarajevo, finally gave a statement in which they announced that it will not happen after all.

“As undestined organizers of the planned performance of Rolling Stones at Bjelasnica on August 10, 2017, we are sorry to announce that after the postponement of their entire summer European tour for autumn due to security reasons, Sarajevo does not meet the criteria for the autumn concert and it definitely will not be included in the plan of their tour,” as noted in a written statement.

As the reason for this, they stated that Sarajevo does not have a covered stadium or a closed-type of a hall that can accommodate more than 50,000 visitors and they also thanked the mayor of Sarajevo, the Prime Minister of CS, the mayor of Trnovo and other high officials, institutions and companies.

“Sarajevo, in comparison to the other Balkan metropolises, met all the demands of TRS management in New York, and it seems that the band will not perform in any other city in the South East Europe,” as said in the statement.
