invalidi_posaoA round table discussion on the employment of people with disabilities within the project “People with disabilities can work and need to work” is held last night in Mostar.

The round table, as well as some other activities within the same project are organized by the Association of Citizens “Snaga” from Mostar, with the financial support of the Foundation for Social Inclusion B&H.

From the Association “Snaga” is pointed out that, despite the good response of people with disabilities, only one employer has responded to the invitation. Interested persons with disabilities were a lot, which is not surprising, because their employment is a problem.

The dynamic debate was about the problems and obstacles faced by people with disabilities, about their deprived rights and other difficulties they are found.

Association “Snaga” within the project “Persons with disabilities can work and need to work” intends to organize on 30/11/2013, another round table on the same subject, and urge employers to respond in large numbers and to assist in resolving this very serious problem of B&H society.

The Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina Damir Ljubić attended the roundtable.
