The visit is planned for the end of 2021, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian Federation.

Minister Turkovic thanked Minister Lavrov for the invitation and pointed out that the visit would be an opportunity to improve relations and cooperation in various areas between the two countries, primarily in the field of economy and culture.

The interlocutors agreed that the visit on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations is an opportunity to sign several agreements and memoranda, the preparations for which will be worked on in the coming months.

Ambassador Kalabukhov stressed that there are many opportunities to strengthen relations in all areas, which will be of interest to both countries. He also reminded of the interest of the Russian Federation in opening cultural centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will contribute to the development of cooperation in the field of culture.

“It was pointed out at the meeting that both sides, in the coming period, will begin preparations for the visit to Moscow,” is stated in the press release by Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
