European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle is convinced that BiH can make up for the lost time on its path to the EU.

Füle said that the adoption of the budget at the levels of BiH, FBiH and RS are good example that with political will and a willingness to compromise, results can be achieved.

”I am convinced that in the year 2013, improvements can be made. Citizens of BiH clearly want the process of EU integration to speed up’’, said Füle to ”Dnevni Avaz”

He added that the implementation of the Sejdić-Finci ruling is of crucial significance if BiH wants to submit a credible application for membership in the EU.

Füle also added that BiH must establish an efficient and effective mechanism for coordinating its efforts with the EU, which is needed in order for BiH to be able to effectively join the EU and to make the most of the EU pre-accession assistance.
