Sabah Ski, a unique skiing event dedicated to the first morning light and the mountain setting, was held yesterday on the Olympic mountain Bjelasnica near Sarajevo, at sunrise, the Bjelasnica-Igman Olympic Center announced.

From 7:15 a.m., skiers and snowboarders descended the Olympic slope from 1984, enjoying magical views from the very top of Bjelasnica. The event gathered more than 1.000 participants, and attendance was free of charge. At the exit station of the six-seat chairlift, warm drinks and refreshments were available to participants, while they could take a break and enjoy the view of the mountain landscape.

The first ride on the six-seat chairlift started at 6:45 a.m., so that participants could reach the summit before sunrise and experience the magic of the morning light. Sabah Ski lasted until 9 a.m., after which the slopes remained open for regular daily ski resort activities.

“This morning, we did not just open the slopes, we opened the day for new memories and unforgettable experiences,” representatives of the Bjelasnica Olympic Center emphasized yesterday.

This event, held for the third year in a row, has generated great enthusiasm among winter sports enthusiasts and those who wish to enjoy an extraordinary mountain experience and panoramic views.
