The young billiard player from BiH Sanjin Pehlivanovic became the World Champion in a competition of up to 17 years at the Junior World Championship in the “9-ball” discipline in Moscow.
The six times European champion and third world player, defeated a player from Hong Kong, Robbi James Joaquin Capito in the final match with the result 9: 1. In this match, Capito did not have much chances against the young BH champion, who played the final match without a single mistake.
The most difficult match in this competition for Pehlivanovic was in the eighth-finals, where he was better than Dmitri Shkudov from Russia with the result 7: 5.
He won against the player from Curacao Island Shamir Tremus with 9:1 in the quarter-finals, while in the semifinals he was better than Wiktor Zielinski from Poland with the result 9: 4.
