“Businessmen from the countries of the Gulf Bay are familiar with our advantages as a region of the southeastern Europe. Natural resources and developmental possibilities in the fields of real estate, energy, agriculture, food industry and tourism have been presented. This region is attractive to foreign investors because of qualified workforce in combination with a competitive cost structure,” stated the director of the BBI Bank Amer Bukvić.

During the presentation, Bukvić announced the arrival of a large business delegation to the SBF on May 4 and 5 in Sarajevo.

Potentials for investing in BiH and the region of the southeastern Europe were also presented to the investors from the United Arab Emirates by the sales advisor in the BBI Bank, Nedim Šahović.

On this occasion, around 60 businessmen from the Emirates expressed interest in business opportunities in BiH, especially in agriculture and the fields of organic food, distribution, logistics, energy and textile industry.

“There was also interest in hospitality activities such as management consulting,” said Šahović, adding that numerous companies, who attended the presentation about all aspects of business in BiH for the first time now, announced their arrival to the SBF.

The presentation of SBF, which was expanded this year through cooperation with the Council of Ministers of BiH and the business forum “Perspectives China +16”, was organized by the BBI Bank in cooperation with partners from Dubai and with support of the Government of Dubai.

Investors from all around the world attend the Sarajevo Business Forum every year, the BBI bank stated.
