Sarajevo Court orders One Month Detention to Two Persons suspected of Document Forgery

The municipal court in Sarajevo ordered a one-month detention for two Serbian citizens whose initials are D.D. and D.J. who are suspected of the criminal offense of document forgery.

Their detention was ordered due to the risk of escape, the risk that they could influence witnesses and cover up evidence if they were released, and the risk of repeating the criminal offense, the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office announced.

Let us remind you that on Sunday, the police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with members of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, arrested D.D. and D.J. due to document forgery.

At the time of their arrest, they had BiH identification documents, with identities different from the real ones, which is why there is a reason to suspect that they committed the criminal offense of document forgery.
