230701438hmThe ceremony of  allocation of the Golden BAM award to the most successful banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2013 will be held today in Sarajevo. The award will be allocated by the Business Magazine Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Organizers point out that year 2013  was marked by a mild economic recovery and lean credit growth for the banking sector. In addition, they emphasized that the last year will be remembered as a very dynamic and turbulent.

It is worth of mentioning that theTurkish Ziraat Bank went from 6th to 3rd place thanks to the growth in deposits and loans of 163.9 million BAM.

The impact of the crisis and rationalization of operations are most visible in the ranking, which treats the number of employees.

More than half of the banks, 14 of them, had a decline in employment when compared to the previous year, but there are some banks that are in apparent expansion and recorded strong growth in employment, such as Nova Banka (up 16.3 percent), Sberbank Inc. Banja Luka (21.5 percent), Sberbank BH dd (13.5 percent), the Ministry of Finance Bank (22.5 per cent), while the recorder Turkish Ziraat Bank with a growth of  (33.9 percent).
