The races “Sarajevo Half Marathon”, “G-drive Relay Half Marathon” and “IntersportFunRun” are being held today in Sarajevo, organized by the Association “Marathon” Sarajevo.

Director of the “Sarajevo Half Marathon” race, Goran Ćorić, told FENA that there are runners from 43 countries in Sarajevo today, and that around 1,100 people are running the half marathon race, plus 700 people who are running the FunRun race.

He stated that the half-marathon runs 21 kilometers, and the participants of the FunRun race run 2.5 kilometers.

According to him, the half marathon is a serious discipline, you need to prepare for it, because it is not easy to run 21 kilometers.

“We are very proud that more than 1,000 people are running the half marathon. The half-marathon is becoming more and more popular, it is becoming a tourist attraction in Sarajevo,” stated Ćorić.
