Metropolitan Archbishop of Vrhbosna and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Msgr. Tomo Vukšić met today in the premises of the Archbishop’s Residence in Sarajevo with the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić.

The meeting was attended by the canon and rector of the cathedral, Fr. Marko Zubak and the economist of the Archdiocese of Vrhbosna, Pres. Vladimir Pranjic. Msgr. Vukšić thanked Mayor Karić for the help provided by the City of Sarajevo during the restoration and replacement of the clock hands on both bell towers of the cathedral.

Karić expressed her regret for the recent incident in Sarajevo’s cathedral during mass, with the hope that similar things will not happen again.

She showed readiness for further cooperation with the Vrhbosna Archdiocese, especially in the area of interreligious dialogue, culture and promotion of the city, KTA reported.
