In the last hours of 2023, the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, visited the on-call services that take care of the safety, health and protection of citizens and guests on New Year’s Eve.

Among other things, Karić wished all on-call services a happy New Year.

“I shared the New Year’s celebration with the on-duty members of the Professional Fire Brigade of the Sarajevo Canton, the Traffic Police of the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior, the Central Police Department, the BIHAMK, the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance, the emergency centers of the University Hospital and the General Hospital, and the pharmacies ‘Baščaršija’ and ‘ Ambulance'”. I wished these wonderful and brave people a happy 2024 with as few interventions as possible. Thank you for being at the service of the citizens and guests of our Sarajevo this night,” said the mayor.
