The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide calls on the competent institutions of the Federation of BiH and the cantons, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor’s Office of the FBiH, to urgently and inevitably launch an investigation against Milorad Dodik for the denial of the genocide in Srebrenica.
“Milorad Dodik once again denied the genocide in Srebrenica, which was determined by the judgments of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the Association stated today.
It is obvious, it is added, that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the state institutions do not apply “Inzko’s Law” and not only do they not apply it, but dozens of complaints for denial of genocide submitted by individuals and non-governmental organizations were rejected by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
“Even after almost two years, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not filed a single indictment for the denial of genocide.
Why the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina do not apply and legally ignore the “Inzko’s law” is a question for the high representative, the HJPC and the disciplinary prosecutor, and the representatives of the international community who are responsible for the reform of the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” explained the Association.
In this regard, they call on the competent government institutions to indict and apply the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH and Article 163 of the XV Criminal Offenses against the Constitutional Order of the Federation of BiH – Causing national, racial and religious hatred, discord or intolerance.
